A command for Oblivion Script Extender

Syntax:

con_SetCameraFOV Degrees

Sets the camera's horizontal field of view in degrees. Defaults to 75.

Increasing or decreasing the horizontal FOV will increase or decrease the vertical FOV proportionally, with the proportion always being 5:4, regardless of the resolution the game is running at. For example, calling this command with Degrees=90 will result in a vertical FOV of 72 degrees.

Notes

  • Due to limitations of the Wiki software, the title of this article, and links to it, cannot display it correctly - there is an underscore (_) in the function's name.
  • This function is identical to the SetCameraFOV Console Function, and should behave as if you had called that function from the console.
  • This function was not designed to be run from scripts, and so may not work as expected.
