Hello everybody,
First of all, here's some important information about me:

I came to playing Oblivion in 2009, by recommendation of a good friend. I had never been a real gamer before, but then I stumbled into Tamriel. Since then I've spent a lot of time playing and modding. This Wiki has been an irreplaceable source of knowledge. Without it, nothing of what I did would have been possible!
I am from germany and living in switzerland. And I have ''no other user account anywhere'' with the name "jaime74", except for the TES CS Wiki and "jaime74tube" on youtube.
All these accounts are only and exclusively related to my TES modding activities. That means, if you should find anybody else with that name on google, <span style="color:#990000;">'''it is not me'''</span>. I am telling this because I found out that the nickname "jaime74" is quite frequent out there. I even stumbled over someone with that name who is publishing adult-content sites! So I have a strong interest in not being mixed up with anyone ;)

I started contributing some very little details for the first time, recently, while digging deeper into discussions about playing music tracks with [[StreamMusic]]. This motivated me to contribute more in the future. Currently, for instance, I am planning to create a brief howto on playing custom music tracks, in order to give back what I have learned here.
Now for the more interesting part.

'''Why do I play Oblivion?'''
I came to playing Oblivion in 2009, by recommendation of a good friend. I had never been a real gamer before, but then I stumbled into Tamriel. Since then I've spent a lot of time playing and modding. In my opinion, TES IV's potential to build your own world outweighs anything else. One of the reasons for this is that I always had lots of sympathy for fantasy and role playing (I've been one of those enthusiastic, old-style "pen-and-paper" roleplayers for several years as a child). In reality (outside Tamriel), I am working as a software engineeer, so the fence was not that too high for me to learn TES scripting. On the other hand, I am quite weak in texturing and 3D modelling.
I am planning to do much more than my hitherto single and unique mod... just need to buy some extra time from the drug store first!

I have also some sympathy for fantasy and role playing (have been doing this in the "old style" as a child, i.e. with pen and paper), that's why TES IV is much more interesting for me than Fallout (which I have never played), and also much more fascinating than more action-oriented games (I tried Fable some weeks ago, but returned to Tamriel quickly :)).

In reality (i.e. outside Tamriel), I am working as a software developer, so the fence was not that high for me to learn TES scripting. My weaker skills, however (those that level up sooo slowly, however hard I try) are on the design side: It nearly took me a full month of texture editing, until I finally got the desired "bo bo bo bommm" sound, plus the message in the top right corner, saying "Your Photoshop skill increased"!

I plan to do more... just need to buy some extra time from the drug store first! :)
