Because I have a relatively small and full C:\ drive, I installed Oblivion on my system's D:\ drive.  When I loaded up the TESCS, it told me I was missing a CTL file (which, of course, turned out to be Oblivion.esm).  Thing is, I can't find any obvious way to set the data path so that the TESCS can find the data files.  Do I really have to install the darn game on a drive it won't fit on?  Should I install TESCS on D:\?  Is there a command or menu option I'm missing?

Not Installed on the C:\ Drive

Because I have a relatively small and full C:\ drive, I installed Oblivion on my system's D:\ drive. When I loaded up the TESCS, it told me I was missing a CTL file (which, of course, turned out to be Oblivion.esm). Thing is, I can't find any obvious way to set the data path so that the TESCS can find the data files. Do I really have to install the darn game on a drive it won't fit on? Should I install TESCS on D:\? Is there a command or menu option I'm missing? --filkertom 04:11, 1 April 2006 (EST)

TESCS should be installed to the same folder as the game.
