"Why is this a category?" Why are you asking, it obviously is. Don't refer people to the forums. The forums are useless for answering questions, in fact, Ive never had anyone answer any of my questions there, only here on the wiki, which, oddly enough, was designed for that very purpose, so don't even mention the forums as a source of information, they are not. Forums are filled with inane chatter and I don't have the time to trawl through pages of verbiage just to find an answer to one simple question. I asked questions there way back in 2006 and they still haven't been answered, so don't ever tell anyone to try the forums, it's counter-productive and a complete waste of everybody's time, the very opposite of good advice. What purpose do you believe the CS wiki serves? Why do you think it's here? Why would you refer a question to a forum? Why misdirect someone to the wrong place? It's like I ask where the library is and you send me to an asylum, wikis are for information retrieval, forums are for conversations, try not to get them mixed up in future.
