Book

Book items are unique in one way. When activated by the player they are not immediately placed in his inventory. Instead a scroll or book page is displayed with a set of controls for reading it. One of those controls is Take. The object is only added to the player's inventory if that option is selected.

• Teaches: Grants a point of this skill to the reader.
• Scroll: If checked, the scroll background and controls are displayed instead of the book background and controls.
• Can't be Taken: The "Take" button is not displayed. Used for posters that can be read but not added to the inventory.
• Book Text: Uses a simplified html format to display book text. If the Enchanting field contains an object, the text is not displayed.
• Enchanting: The magic effects associated with this object. If this field is set, activating the book will prepare these spell effects and not display the Book Text field.
• Enchantment: Not used.
