The phase length slider does not affect the moons rise/set cycle that determines when the moons rise and set for any given day. This follows a different 5 day cycle that cannot be altered, and that starts on the first day of the game as having both moons present. Over the course of the cycle, Masser rises and sets at the same time, and Secunda rises and sets earlier as the cycle passes, until it rises at the same time as Masser again on the first day of the next cycle. | |||
