This started as a discussion thread intending to provide a one-stop-place to find collected wisdom about preventing crashes and bugs.

Note that the person who started the thread has stated that the information in that thread has been copied to an external website: Prevent crashes in Oblivion due to it being "...easier to update information on one website compared to a number of posts...". The information on the website will probably be more updated than either the topic or this wiki page.

Deletion of page contents

Update: It has been brought to my attention that some of the fans of my crash prevention guide are getting confused by the fact that there are two different versions of this guide available on the web. I was informed that the fan in question thought that this wiki page is the more updated version of my guide and described the website as "...a chopped-up copy/paste of an older version of the page I just mentioned (ie this wiki page-JdeRau)...". I mean seriously, it is clearly mentioned in the second paragraph that it is the website, not this wiki page, that is more updated but anyway, I have decided that the only permanent and surefire way of completely preventing confusion is to delete the information on this page.
