Searches, by default, search the main namespace (normal articles) and Categories. Which namespaces are searched can be customized after the Search (and the Search must be re-run afterwards), or the default Search can be changed in [[Special:Preferences|User Preferences]]. Note that users who joined before August 7, 2007 will have to manually add Categories to the list - it is highly recommended that you do so.
