for some reason when i try to i can open the book i just get the spell learning option but the book itself doesnt open/>--[[User:NeroAnima|NeroAnima]]
:I ''think'' (and I have only just skimmed the script) that was intentional. There are ways around that, but I haven't got the time to write it up, I'm afraid. Uhm. Check out [[MenuMode]], it's got a way of checking to see if you're looking at a book. Checking which book is... harder. You need to detect if the player's Activated it (with an [[OnActivate]] block similar to the one in here; note that OnActivate blocks normal activation, so if you still want the book to open you need [[Activate]]), or if the player equipped it (I ''think'' [[OnEquip]] will work for this?). Sorry, don't have more than that for you.
