Then, I import the .obj of the model I want to rig, and slide it around in Blender to sit where I want it to be. This is fairly intuitive. Remember to always do Object>Clear/Apply/Apply size/rotation after you're done moving any object in order to make the move "Real". Wierdness could result later otherwise.
