First of all, here's some important information about me:
I have ''no other user account anywhere'' with the name "jaime74", except for the TES CS Wiki and "jaime74tube" on youtube.
All these accounts are only and exclusively related to my TES modding activities. That means, if you should find anybody else with that name on google, <span style="color:#990000;">'''it is not me'''</span>. I am telling this because I found out that the nickname "jaime74" is quite frequent out there. I even stumbled over someone with that name who is publishing adult-content sites! So I have a strong interest in not being mixed up with anyone ;)
The ''jaime'' part of my nickname, by the way, is not my real name, but a tribute to ''Jaime Lannister'' from G.R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire (my first TES IV character was originally meant to be a bit like him). I like pointing out that I've known and cherished this great epic novel long before the HBO TV series came out!
Now for the more interesting part.
I came to playing Oblivion in 2009, by recommendation of a good friend. I had never been a real gamer before, but then I stumbled into Tamriel. Since then I've spent a lot of time playing and modding. In my opinion, TES IV's potential to build your own world outweighs anything else. One of the reasons for this is that I always had lots of sympathy for fantasy and role playing (I've been one of those enthusiastic, old-style "pen-and-paper" roleplayers for several years as a child). In reality (outside Tamriel), I am working as a software engineeer, so the fence was not that too high for me to learn TES scripting. On the other hand, I am quite weak in texturing and 3D modelling.
I am planning to do much more than my hitherto single and unique mod... just need to buy some extra time from the drug store first!
