People generally maintain their own Talk pages. Removing a comment of your own from someone's Talk page isn't terrible, but it's better to add a comment saying "nevermind" then to just mysteriously remove it. | |||
On normal Talk pages, you can remove your own comments (and usually only your own comments), though again, a note to other editors about why you are doing so (even if just in the summary) would be appreciated. | |||
At any rate, I don't think there's anything wrong with either section remaining on my Talk page, at least for now. I should clean it up at some point, though. | |||
