Talk:How to make a book with pictures only

A couple of notes from following Pekka's helpful article about image insertion into books: Pekka's is the only article I've found to actually mention the need to add formatting tags on the same line as the image lines themselves. Also that period at the end of the last image line was important (I tried to ignore it and couldn't!) I couldn't get an image to appear unless it had it's own unique subdirectory under Textures\Menus\Book\ folder just like the article shows. Mine was Data\Textures\Menus\Book\Gristle\imagename.dds. My initial inclination was to attempt using just the Book folder directly and despite perfect path assignments in CS it just would not make the image appear, inexplicably. The moment a unique subdir was included solved it. On large images (despite the originals typically being 512x512) the width listed in the image text will never go beyond 490 pixels wide. Pekka shows 480, but it can go a little beyond that. At 491 it will crash the engine directly to the desktop. I hope recording some of this added clarification may help somebody else who may run into these extremely tight formatting requirements. Good luck, Gristle

The <font> tag is unnecessary here, and a single space does the same trick as the full stop. I also noticed the max height for the first page (680) is different than the 2nd and 3rd (702), possibly related to the take button—mmmpld 09:05, 25 June 2006 (EDT)
