Evaluate Package[edit source]
If it "will not reeval", then does this mean EVP will do nothing, or will it override the "will not reeval"? --MaXiMiUS 20:56, 13 June 2006 (EDT)
- I'm pretty sure it means exactly as written; any time the program tries to evaluate the package, it will always yield the same Travel package that's already in progress, until the package is complete (i.e., the actor reaches the destination). --JT 19:54, 17 October 2006 (EDT)
Not Possible to Travel "In Cell"?[edit source]
My testing seems to indicate that it's necessary to tell an NPC to travel to "Near Reference", "Any Object", or "Near Editor Location" in the Location tab. Using the "In Cell" location fails silently.
However, this could be a side effect of something else, since I'm using a pretty crazy levelled list scheme... --JT 19:54, 17 October 2006 (EDT)
- The devs put a recommendation on the wiki not to use In Cell, without any info on exactly why. I guess this could be one reason. Scruggs 20:02, 17 October 2006 (EDT)
- As it turns out, it was a side effect of the Leveled Creature lists. I went ahead and updated that article with my findings. Using the leveled lists directly with the template which gives them the appropriate AI packages allows them to work fine because the template works; using a leveled list which contains the originals with their appropriate templates won't work because the master leveled list overrides the originals' templates with its blank template.
- Uh, not that anyone actually knew about what I was doing. =P --JT 01:04, 18 October 2006 (EDT)
