Snapping to Grid

If anyone is reading this, I need help. I am currently working on a mod which includes a small castle. I have noticed that the interior pieces for building a castle do NOT snap together, at least under the 8-multiple snapping. (8,16,32,etc.) If ANYONE could PLEASE tell me somehow what works to fit together INTERIOR castle pieces, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Any response I get from this message would make my day.

Have you set up your Preferences for Grid-Snapping, properly ? Snapping to Grid feature must also be enabled from the main toolbar.
