Bylines

Hello, and welcome to the Wiki!

Regarding your new tutorial (Rotating an object about local angles/axes), it is very well done and looks very helpful, but unfortunately you are not allowed to put your name on the top of it as you have. All articles on the Wiki are intended to be freely editable by all members of the community, and as such any submissions to the Wiki must be given freely to the Wiki and you must waive all ownership and rights to the material.

Adding your name to the article implies that you have not done so, so I want to be clear: Is this tutorial intended to be given freely to the Wiki and the Oblivion modding community? If so, I must ask you to remove the byline from the article. If not, there are places for that sort of thing (I believe both Planet Elder Scrolls and the TES Nexus have Tutorials sections, and TESA's entire point is such things, from what I understand), but unfortunately the Wiki is not one such place and as such, we must remove the article.

Please let me know what you wish done with the article (or simply edit the article to either remove your name or replace the entire contents of the article with {{afd}} if you wish to have it deleted). If you have any questions about the Wiki or this policy, I will be happy to answer them.

Either way, thank you for your contribution to the Oblivion modding community; your effort is greatly appreciated, whether it stays here or ends up somewhere else. In either case, the tutorial looks quite good and should be useful to many modders.

Thanks,

No problem. I removed my name from the article. Sorry about putting it there in the first place. I'm glad the article is appreciated though. ThePhilanthropy 20:45, 2 June 2011 (EDT)
