Some QuestionsEdit

Hi. I was wanting to create a few custom classes, but I am totally new at this, so I have many questions. First, I was wondering if it is possible to have only a certain class start with a spell. Second, I was wondering where the little class portraits are. Finally, I'd like to know about creating spells with effects in a combination that may not exist in the game. I know this is a lot to ask, but I thank you in advance. Respond here, or e-mail at superstu90@aol.com if the answers a quite long, or if you just want to make the classes for me. Thank you again. --Stuart~~

Services Tab on the Player's Class?Edit

The help on the Classes dialog states...

Auto-Calc Buys / Sells: These are the items that the class can buy or sell. If an NPC is set to Autocalc his stats, the buy and sell flags from his class are used. If the NPC is not autocalc'd, you can set his buy and sell flags directly.

Auto-Calc Other: Same as the buy and sell option above, but for the Recharge, Repair, and Training services. If training is selected, the skill to train and the maximum value the class can train to must be filled in.

But there is no note on how these effect Playable characters. Note the use of "NPC" in the descriptions.

So my question is, how do these 2 options effect Playable characters? --Tecknomage~~

Class Icon IssuesEdit

Hi, I have a picture that I am trying to use as a menu icon for a custom class. I have created three different versions in 512x512, a scaled down 512x512 image and a 256x256 image and saved them in the following folders respectively:

Textures\menus\Level_Up\Class_Creation
Textures\menus80\Level_Up\Class_Creation
Textures\menus50\Level_Up\Class_Creation

In the CS editor, the class image displays correctly, however, in game, the menu images do not show. Any idea why this is happening?

Thanks
