Description | TES4qLOD is a small program that can create all those DDS texture files of your landscape which is normally pasted on top of the Distant Land LOD meshes. It can produce them at the standard 1024x1024 quality that Oblivion uses, or 2048x2048 or 4096x4096. It can also produce a textured map of your landscape by combining all the LOD meshes for you in to one map.
TES4qLOD can also generate the .lod files needed for Visible When Distant (VWD) statics (such as buildings, trees etc): The official Construction Set crashes out when trying to produce these for large worldspaces. VWD statics are placed in the directory called DistantLOD and the filenames always begin with the worldspace name - e.g. tamriel_11_-3.lod | |
