Dungeon Static Tile Catalog[edit | edit source]

Conventions used for the catalog

Images will be used to roughly represent the edges of a tile. The pictures assume the tile has just been placed, has not been rotated, and that you've pressed the T key to center over it with the top down view.

Example: CRmCornerInExitN01B RcfInsideNECnrExit.png The light grey area is the floor, and the dark grey area is inaccesable. The red line shows the wall, and the half circles show the connection points. It is very important to note that this is just a rough representation of the tile. Just because a tile has the east wall icon RcfEastWall.png does not mean it would connect to CRmCornerInExitN01B.

The following groups are proposed for grouping tiles:

  • Corner - Either inside or outside corner pieces
  • Exit - Pieces that can hold doors, or look like door ways
  • Wall - Like it sounds
  • Stair - Pieces that change the Z axis. Doesn't have to be stairs, could be a ramp as well
  • Floor - Basic floor pieces
  • Misc - Anything that really can't be placed anywhere else

There will be some overlap, especially since exits will be in either corner or wall as well.
