I've lowered the weight of all shoes from 2.0 to anywhere between 0.5 & 1.5, most are around 0.8 to 1.0. Players now have a much improved chance to sneak with shoes, I'd like to normalize the sneak chance so that shoes with a 1.0 weight have the same sneak chance as boots in the stock game (2.0 weight) - do I double this value? How does this work? My trial and error testing doesn't tell me much since I can't measure the sneak chance very effectively.
