About... oh, seven, maybe eight months ago, I posted my first public mod. Nothing too fancy, as it was my first real mod that wasn't ridiculously overpowered. All it did was slightly modify the Mehrunes' Razor script to have a one percent chance to proc. This one is inspired by the Guardian-only blade from [http://www.artixentertainment.com Artix Entertainment's] [http://www.battleon.com AdventureQuest], which happens to be my favorite sword of all time. I've modified the original attacks a bit, but kept the proc rating the same.

Behold, my most recent creation! An amulet inspired by [http://www.blizzard.com Blizzard's] death knights' talent, 'Acclimation'. It'll give the player 5 points of resistance for every hit by the respective element (fire; frost; shock) a cumulative total of 10 times, then reset after every battle.
However, I'm having a bit of trouble with it. Because I'm using:

Wasn't much starting out. Had virtually no experience with scripts, so that first script was a hack-job. However, my knowledge of scripting quickly grew. If there's one thing I can do, it's a determined pursuit of one thing. Within two weeks I had it somewhat cleaned up, and another script with a fifteen percent chance to deal a blast of lightning on one target. After that, it was all down-hill. I dabbled a little into quests, but I really wanted to get to know scripts, as, apart from modelling, that seemed the biggest hurdle I had to face and I had no idea where to get modelling software from at the time.
Begin OnMagicEffectHit

So, focusing on one mod, and after taking a break, I have now almost completed my first mod. It was ambitious for my skill level at the time, but now the only thing I have left to face is modelling, and even that hurdle shall fail before me.
... I have to apply this script directly to the player reference. This, obviously, isn't what I really want in a mod, as no one else will be able to do that anymore with this mod active.

If anyone can answer this for me in my talk page and effectively solve the problem, I will be eternally grateful, as well as pointing out your name in my contributions. =)
Now, you may look at the author on the file and this name and say it's not me. Technically, it isn't. But, I assure you: the day they allow me to change my name on there, it shall be this one.

I am currently attending [http://www.sheltonstate.edu Shelton State Community College] in Alabama. This college is a safe haven from all of the pompous, holier-than-thou, sharp-tongued jerks that wander the world. I have only met nice people here, and this college is the only reason I enjoy it here. Okay, ''Sweet Home, Alabama'' is another incentive, too.

Right now, I'm working towards a degree in industrial electronics. Once that works out (positive thinking), maybe something in engineering or architecture.

I only really picked up modding a couple of months before June of 2009. I decided to focus on scripting because I had no idea where to find modeling programs at the time. Although I have all but completed my first mod, I still consider myself a beginner; the scripts are still rather simple compared to others.
As a side-note: usually when you see the name 'Wildcard89', that's me. I just had some problems with other people also using that name, so I wanted a more unique one, and some sites won't let me change it.

My Mods[edit | edit source]

The Blade of Awe[edit | edit source]

This one is inspired by the Guardian-only blade from Artix Entertainment's AdventureQuest, which happens to be my favorite sword of all time. I've modified the original attacks a bit, but kept the proc rating the same.

Amulet of Acclimation[edit | edit source]

Behold, my most recent creation! An amulet inspired by Blizzard's death knights' talent, 'Acclimation'. It'll give the player 5 points of resistance for every hit by the respective element (fire; frost; shock) a cumulative total of 10 times, then reset after every battle. However, I'm having a bit of trouble with it. Because I'm using:

Begin OnMagicEffectHit
 ;do stuff
