Description |
ESPluginCracker is a rudimentary Win32 application that allows plugins authored with a higher CS version, like those Bethesda-made DLC (think Knights Of The Nine) to be opened by the program and/or recognized by Oblivion. It is dedicated solely to the purpose of changing the internal version info contained within an .esp file. It's very useful if you are creating plugins using the latest Construction Kit but are not creating mods that really require a patched version of Oblivion. Whether you're an unusually accomodating modder or just a power user with patchphobia, a quick read-over of How To Back-Rev Your Plugin might sate your thirst for information. Recent versions have made it even easier to see what version number your plugins/masters are currently at, and the utility now boasts some esp<->esm functionality. | |
