==About Me==
==About Me==
My name's Edd, and I suppose I'll start by saying I love modding Oblivion! I live in Stafford, England, and my main interests include pretty much anything creative, mostly in computer form, such as modding, web design, animation, programming etc, and then theres my non-electrical hobbies such as playing guitar, singing and songwriting and stuff. Once I'm done at college I'm taking a gap year, and then I'll be studying computer games design at university for 5 years.
My name's Edd, and I modded Oblivion. I made the Forgotten Tomb mod and was working my ass off for a mod called Temple Justice, and blah blah blah it was going good, almost finished it for my college FMP, then it got me a distinction and I scrapped it through frustration. I will not be modding Oblivion again. I will be modding Crysis when it comes out, and I'll be starting university doing a masters in Computer Games Design as of September 07.

===Forgotten Tomb===
This was my first Oblivion mod. I didn't want to mod until I'd finished the game so as not to spoil things, so I blitzed the game and then got to work straight away. It was basically a short dungeon/quest mod that introduced a nice story for the player to follow with some new traps and a large area for an end boss. I've had all round good feedback from this, and I'm really happy about it because it's the first internet released mod I've ever done (I modded Morrowind for my own personal joys but didn't feel like anything was worth sharing).

For my final major project at college, I was given permission to create an Oblivion mod. So, yeah, Temple Justice. Temple Justice was a pretty big mod, set in a new dimension called Aequitas. The locals were perfectly happy there, but a great temple casts a shadow across the land. This temple was once sealed away, but it was now time for you to open the doors once more, and fight the evil inside.
For my final major project at college, I've been given permission to create an Oblivion mod. What this means is that instead of college hindering my progress with modding, it's actually helping. I did some tests a while back with various things, and made a few videos which are all quite old now. Thanks to various people on the official forums for giving me help here and there for different things, such as mrflippy with scripting help on the trap spells I made, and CuteUnit when I was getting irritated with glow maps for something else.

There was a trailer floating around on YouTube but I removed it now. This project will never see the light of day because I no longer have any of the files. As I said before, it did get me a distinction though.

I finally made a WIP thread about Temple Justice, which is [http://www.elderscrolls.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=487409 here], but to be honest I can't stand the modding forum, it moves too fast for anyone to see anything, I stay on the Construction Set forums.

There's quite a fair bit to do, new meshes, voice acting, a whole new story plus sidequests, all that sort of stuff. There's a trailer for it [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9Wh10iaa6g here] which I'm quite happy with. It should be doon pretty soon, and I can't wait to release it.
==What I'd like to do==
Depending on how successful my current project turns out to be, and depending on if we ever get an official exporter, depends on what I do next really. I'm taking a gap year because I need to work and save up lots of money for lots of stuff I want befoer I go to university (for a 5 year masters degree in computer games design). I did want to make a western TC, but wether I will or not is debatable. I might look into modding Half Life 2 (so I have a more varied portfolio), or I might make an animated movie (because as much as I love games, it gets a little irritating with issues like the official exporter, limitations of the CS, etc).

About Me

My name's Edd, and I modded Oblivion. I made the Forgotten Tomb mod and was working my ass off for a mod called Temple Justice, and blah blah blah it was going good, almost finished it for my college FMP, then it got me a distinction and I scrapped it through frustration. I will not be modding Oblivion again. I will be modding Crysis when it comes out, and I'll be starting university doing a masters in Computer Games Design as of September 07.

Forgotten Tomb

This was my first Oblivion mod. I didn't want to mod until I'd finished the game so as not to spoil things, so I blitzed the game and then got to work straight away. It was basically a short dungeon/quest mod that introduced a nice story for the player to follow with some new traps and a large area for an end boss. I've had all round good feedback from this, and I'm really happy about it because it's the first internet released mod I've ever done (I modded Morrowind for my own personal joys but didn't feel like anything was worth sharing).

You can download it from TESSource. Screenshots:

Temple Justice

The locals were perfectly happy there, but a great temple casts a shadow across the land. This temple was once sealed away, but it was now time for you to open the doors once more, and fight the evil inside.

There was a trailer floating around on YouTube but I removed it now. This project will never see the light of day because I no longer have any of the files. As I said before, it did get me a distinction though.
