Numerous people (myself included) have encountered a problem when installing the CivilistationIV nif exporter plugin for 3D Studio Max. Basically the problem is that after installing, when you open 3D Studio Max, a box pops up that says:
Loading DLL's: DLL <C:/3dsMax7/Plugins/CivilizationIVmaxplugin.dlu> failed to initialize. Error Code: 126 - The specified module could not be found.
If you are getting this problem, then your copy of Windows is missing a certain .dll file. You can download the .dll file here. This file needs to be in your WINDOWS\system32 folder on the hard drive that you have Windows installed on.
