Talk:FBuoyancyWood

I'd like to add that the material of stuff is defined in the bhk...Shape - blocks of the nif, but i'd say it would clutter the articles to add it to each of the FBuoyancy-Articles. Maybe the fBuoyancy-Articles would be better combined to a single Article? --Elim Garak 05:37, 29 December 2007 (EST)
- I think that's a good idea. All these really need is the boilerplate statement that was mostly already there in each one, along with the default value and what objects or type of objects the setting affects. I'm very new here, so I'm just weighing in with my opinion since I decided to fuss with these today. --Niaht 06:46, 29 December 2007 (EST)
- Converting these to one article is one option, another is using a template for the information that should be included in all the articles. I made the template, it's available here Template:FBuoyancy. You can add the information of the bhkShapes to the template and it will change in all FBuoyancy articles.

- Would it be ok if I go and include the whole formatting of each article into the template and use variables? The resulting individual pages would look something like:
{{Template:FBouyancy |description=Additional things to say in the description. |defaultvalue=1.0000 |affects=pelts, scales |seealso=[[similartopic]] }}
- Any variable can be optional.

- Sure, I'm not at all experienced with the Wiki software so I have no idea about what's possible. If you have any more idea's about anything feel free to try them out or leave a note somewhere.
