Civilization IV - Max-Tools

Description

This is a NIF exporter for 3D Studio Max, designed for use with Civilization 4. It can be used to create models for Oblivion, but it uses an older version of The NIF format and not everything can be realized (e.g. no collision-data and Havok-physics)

Description

3D Studio Max Importer/Exporter for Oblivion that supports collision mesh generation.

This is an early release.

Requires 3D Studio Max 6, 7, or 8.

Description

Blender is a free and open source software program for 3D modeling, animation, and rendering. The Blender NIF scripts enable Blender to import and export NIF files. The current scripts require Blender version 2.41 or higher.

Maya

NifTools Maya NIF Plug-in

Description

Maya Importer/Exporter for NIF files. It does not support animation or collision, but it can open and export static NIF files compatible with Oblivion.

Binaries require Maya 6.5 or 7.0 for Windows. Source is availiable to attempt to build for other platforms and versions.
