Talk:Advanced Quest Tutorial

GhanBuriGhan I hope I'm not being an ass, but to me it seems that setting the skeleton as a quest target is an example of a very illogical quest marker - e.g. the player has no way of knowing where the skeleton is, yet the pointer shows it. That may be personal preference, but I'd rather not teach that way of thinking to the aspiring quest designer. How about creating another topic with a rumor that the mage was last seen "just to the north of XXX battling a gang of Ork raiders" and set the quest marker to some rock or marker in the vicinity of the skeleton. Otherwise this is an awesome tutorial, keep going! --GhanBuriGhan 16:31, 28 July 2006 (EDT)
- ShadowDancer 17:07, 28 July 2006 (EDT): That is a good point. I wasn't thinking about it other than making sure I had a grasp of the way that Quest Targets worked so I was playing around. The DragonClawRockMapMarker would probably be a better choice or adding another marker a little bit beyond that one.
