Fixing multi-colored LOD textures

Problem

On medium and small texture resolution the LOD textures generated with TES4qLOD appear as multi-colored squares instead of the intended texture.

Solution

TES4qLOD has generated invalid mipmaps, this can be fixed by resaving the texture as DDS with one of the DDS tools.
