A function added by the Oblivion Script Extender.
Syntax:
(void) sv_Erase variable:string_var startPos:short numToErase:short
Erases the specified number of characters from a string starting at the specified position. If omitted, startPos = 0. Omitting numToErase erases all characters from startPos to the end of the string.
