World objects are 3D objects that are placed in the world. They do not respond to combat or the real world physics of Havok. For the most part they are static. The two notable exceptions are Activators and Doors.
Reference Fields[edit | edit source]
These fields are common to many World Object references.
- Ownership Tab: Indicates the owner or faction owner of the reference. This data supercedes the ownership of the cell. This data only has meaning for doors, containers, and furniture. Owned objects are considered stolen if the Player is not considered to be an owner. Also, owners of locked doors do not need keys to go through them.
- NPC: this NPC owns this object
- Global Variable: Obsolete, leave set to none (might function for cell ownership).
- Faction: Actors in this faction own this object
- Required Rank: Actors in the above faction and of this rank, own this object.
- Extra Tab: This tab is shown on several World Objects, but does not have meaning in any of them.
