I think these portal pages are great! It's a shame they're not more accessible from the main page. Would it be possible to add a link in the 'Related Portals' box to a page listing all of the available portals? An 'All Portals' link or something? I would find this a more useful index than the index on the main page. Also, I think there should be links to pages listing all of the tutorials available for a particular tool (GIMP, Blender, Photoshop, etc.). The links could go in the 'Tools' box under the particular tool. That way the topics and the tools are interlinked.
