I've updated the article. I hope it now is more complete and a bit more up-to-date. | |||
I only added some parts, so people with newer Nifscope versions can also use this tutorial. When I tried to copy a piece of armor, everything in this tutorial said I was done, but still it looked like my piece wasn't attached right and my CS crashed when trying to view the armor in the render window, so I also added the fix that I used for this. | |||
I'm not sure if I'll look here again any time soon, but I hope I improved this article and spared some people a lot of time. | |||

Linking Method 2[edit source]
I followed the second linking method in the tutorial, but with the latest version of nifskope, all I see when I right click on children and select array is update. Am I doing something wrong?
- The tutorial is a bit out of date. Above or below the Children array you should see a Num Children field. Increase that number by one to add an empty link. Click on the icon with the two green arrows, in the value column of the array, to update the array and display the empty link.
