Hey, I saw your comment about Vista "seeming to be the better system" - perhaps, marginally. It also takes considerably more system resources without more than minor improvements. That's the biggest general problem with Vista.
More importantly, to me, is that the anti-piracy "features" in Vista are ''extremely'' intrusive. Considerable waste of computer processing time and memory, generally spent "spying" on you, in case you ''might'' pirate something. Personally, I find that unacceptable for an OS; I don't pay people to assume I'm guilty. This is not as well known a fact as you might think, so I wanted to point that out for you. The handful of minor upgrades in Vista aren't worth the waste of system resources and the indignity of it all, in my opinion.<br />

:I'll definitely agree with you there. I don't care for Vista at all myself. Still quite happy using XP on my gaming rig. The only real advantage to Vista is DX10 (for games that support it). I vastly prefer OS X for work (if it had better gaming support, I'd switch to it at home in a heartbeat). --[[User:Dev akm|dev_akm]] 17:24, 22 May 2009 (EDT) |
