I removed your question on the [[Oblivion Mods FAQ]] page. Questions belong on the {{Forums}}, your own talk page, or on a talk page of a relevant article, but not on an article page, and definitely not in the [[Oblivion Mods FAQ]]. I recommend the {{Forums}}.

Help with AI

I think you forgot to check the flag "offers services" in the travel package because the NPC will only sell items if this flag is checked. If this doesn't work you can try the AI portal to find out more about AI.

Thanks --Oblivious12123 11:20, 2 September 2009 (EDT)

So if you don't have problems with the AI then it must be something else. Have you created a merchant container and linked it to your merchant? If you still have some problems with your merchant, you should visit this page or this page. (These pages can explain things better than I can.) Because they give you more detailed information on how to create a merchant. Don't forget to read their talk pages too, there might be another user who had the same problem as you. Don't worry, you'll find the solution somewhere. Oh, now I've mentioned it, you can also visit the Category: Solutions if you still have some other problems.

creating a mod

When I create my own mod i try to play it in-game.
It appears on the data files list, when i select it it works fine, i click OK, still works fine, i click play, still functions but in game the mod dosen't appear!

Try downloading OBMM (Oblivion Mod Manager) "Quote:The main advantage though is that an omod can contain a script which can tell obmm which other mods a mod depends on, which mods it conflicts with, the order in which the esps must load, automatically register new bsa files, make ini or xml tweaks, etc."
So its possible your mod conflicts with other mods or your mods are loading in the wrong order so it doesn't appear in game.

Downloading a mod

When I download a mod it dosen't even appear in my data files! i even do this:
Computer > Bethesda > Oblivion > Data
It appears in there but not on the data files list!
