Regarding BSA Redirection
<pre>"any BSA file containing at least one texture should work"</pre>
The OBMM BSA Redirection functionality registers what appears to be an empty BSA file, unless you happen to have some textures in data/textures/faces, though as far as I've ever seen it works perfectly.

improvements

It's wonderful, thorough, clear, well written. However, this article could be Wiki'd better... In some places, there was still UBBC code (I removed these), and there are a ton of external links where internal links to articles might be more appropriate. I don't know enough about most of these to switch them, however.
Also, why is it a category? --DragoonWraith 12:06, 24 May 2006 (EDT)

Thanks for fixing that stuff, DragoonWraith! I tried to convert everything, but I guess I missed some stuff.

On the external links issue, I'm unclear on exactly what you are suggesting. Can you elaborate?

I'm new to Wikis and the Wikipedia documentation referenced here is heavily geared toward categories, so what would you suggest as a better alternative to having it as a category? Basically I just couldn't figure out any other way to give it its own page, so I'm completely open to suggestions.

Thanks!

Dragoon Wraith TALK 17:51, 2 June 2006 (EDT): Well, it was moved to a page, which is good, however, there are still a lot of external links - you link to the websites of the various tools instead of linking to their wiki pages. For instance, instead of Oblivion Mod Manager ([http://timeslip.chorrol.com/ Oblivion Mod Manager]), use Oblivion Mod Manager ([[Oblivion Mod Manager]]), and link to that article, which will have links to Timeslip's homepage. This is generally accepted wiki style, and encourages a more thorough wiki rather than simply linking to other sites.

I noticed the link to "free utility like WinGrep." was broken I Wayback'ed it thus web.archive.org May 08, 2007

--Dev akm 13:35, 14 September 2007 (EDT) WinGrep link works fine as always for me. Must've been a temporary problem.

moved to article from category

I moved this page to a regular article from a category. Move page didn't appear to work for this case. The pre-move history can be found here. -- Nezroy 17:59, 24 May 2006 (EDT)

The Patch

I've got a question regarding the patch: You said that it fises some textures in the BSA files? What if we decompressed the BSA files? Would the patch still work? TheImperialDragon 00:49, 7 June 2006 (EDT)

Note: If you're using Wrye Bash, you probably won't see a date problem with Oblivion.esm, since by default Bash resets modified times to their proper value every time Bash is opened. OTOH, if you've changed the default setting, Bash still allows you to directly edit the date. --Wrye 12:20, 8 June 2006 (EDT)

Typo

the Basic Animation Tutorial you mentioned has nothing to do with 3Ds max, but all with nifskope. --Sarkandar 19:20, 5 June 2007 (EDT)

Thanks. Sorry I just now noticed this comment. --Dev akm 13:19, 14 September 2007 (EDT)

"any BSA file containing at least one texture should work"
