Overview
This window is accessible via "View --> Preview Window" selection from the Menu Bar and once activated will display a preview of the Object selected in the Object Window. Note that if the Preview Window was not active when an object was selected, or if the Render Window was currently active, the Preview Window will have to be activated by clicking on it and the Object re-selected for it to show up in Preview.
The lighting on the Object model is roughly equivalent to having "A" lighting toggled on in the Reference Window. (Pressing "A" here will have no effect)
Helpful Hint: Pressing "G" when the Preview Window is active will get rid of the "frame of reference" ground plane that usually obstructs the view of many objects, such as floor meshes.
