Would be nice if there'd be ANY troubleshooting at least at the end of this "tutorial" since playtesting without being able to see your dungeon (in my case)is double-plus ungood! --> One can drop and take items, there is even an image on the small map and one can fall off from it, but: If anybody knows, why all I can SEE instead of the cave is brown mist, please tell or recommand a better tutorial!

Can't find what you need?[edit source]

(No innuendo comments, please). Good though this tutorial is, it does not take into account those of us with the i.qs of decapitated slugs. i.e- me. So I will point out that CDoor00 is found under World Objects --> Door where as CEntranceRockMossLG01 is found under World Objects --> Static --> Caves. Yes I know, it is blindingly obvious but I spent a good half-hour completely foxed by this. Then again, I do think my computer is trying to kill me, so maybe it isn't that surprising.

Another obvious comment by me- can't see what nodes your rocks are blocking? Rotate the screen so your looking up from underneath the rock. And the delete them.

And finally. If you can't see what you just dropped, if you can't move that item you need, double check route marker isn't up before you go mad.

Doors?[edit source]

Whenever I link doors to cells, I end up teleporting to the wrong side of the door. How can I fix this? --Angel 19:28, 22 June 2009 (EDT)

Problem[edit source]

I've read through the tutorial now, and created a cave, both interior and exterior. I shaped the interior after my own sinister masterplan, but the exterior part was crated by doing exactly as the article says, step-by-step. After saving the file, i found it and enabled it in the mod manager, started up the game and followed the road southwest of bravil. I did encounter a bandit, but since I'd never explored this area before, i'm not sure whether it was the one guarding the cave or one that's there by default. I did not find the cave, and i did not find any cave marker symbol on my compass. Does anyone have any idea regarding what i can do about it?

A MapMarker has to be placed explicitly. Maybe you were just unable to find the cave, if you're sure you found the right spot; see Help none of my changes in the construction set show up in game. If you have any further problems with that issue you should make a thread on the Forums.
