A leveled spell list is a list of possible spells that the actor may have. When the actor enters combat, the list is resolved using the actor's skill to determine which spell the list gives him.

  • Chance None: The chance that the leveled list will not generate a spell.
  • Calculate from all levels <= PC's level: If checked, the level list will use an item at or below the actor's skill in the list. If not checked, it uses the closest item or items to the actor's skill, but not exceeding it.
  • Calculate for each item in count: If this list is in another leveled list with a count greater than zero, this checkbox determines if each spell in the count is the same, or is recalculated.
  • Use All Spells: If checked, all spells in the list are added to the actor.
  • Object: New spells are added by dragging them into the window. Selected spells in the list are modfied with this pull down.
  • Level: The selected spell's associated skill is altered here.
  • Count: Not used.
  • Preview Calculated Result: Generates an example list of spells that this list might generate.
  • Preview level: The assumed skill of the actor for the Preview Calculated Result button.
  • Preview Count: The number of times the list should be generated for the Preview Calculated Result button.

Notes[edit | edit source]

  • Other leveled list objects use the lesser of the player's level and the owning actor's level (if there is one) to determine which items is selected. Leveled spell lists are unique in using the actor's casting skill instead. For example: a "level" of 25 means the actor must have a skill of at least 25 for this spell to be a possible result of the leveled spell list.
  • Unlike other leveled objects, only the owning actor's skill are considered. The player's skills, even if significantly less, are not a factor.
