Gundalf has also written [http://www.silgrad.com/wbb2/thread.php?postid=31448 this] tutorial on using bhktristrips to make your collision meshes. There is also a new updated version of his tutorial in the light of his 3DS Max plugin which streamlines the process.  I will be covering the same approach using Blender here in the near future once I've managed to simplify it somewhat into step by step sections.
