* Now change your Landscape settings to Flatten and from the land you have raised, drag the land out to the shape you require. Make the shape of the land larger than what you want.

This is why you need to over do your landscape at first, as you soften your land you will lower the level, this is a good method with hills as well, over do the height and size then soften back down.
