Added another note about this function affecting the base object. RemoveSpell works the same way, so it's generally okay to add temporary abilities to references as long as you call removeSpell to get rid of them within a reasonable period of time. [[User:Scruggs|Scruggs]] 16:42, 6 June 2006 (EDT)

[[User:GuidoBot|GuidoBot]] 22:31, 13 October 2006 (EDT) I seem to be having trouble with AddSpell/RemoveSpell on generic actors. <u>RemoveSpell does not seem to be removing the spell from the base actor</u>. In my test I have a bunch of imps. I hit one with an AddSpell abiliy to do damage and have the script remove it again. It only affects the target imp so AddSpell is not getting added to others that are already spawned. I also tested that the RemoveSpell is returning one and definitely working for the target imp. However, when I leave the area and come back all Imps are dead. Any suggestions? This is quite crutial to my current MOD and the Programmable Spells article.
