That's pretty much why Beth made this for Oblivion - they knew they couldn't spend the time required to write up good documentation, so they openned it up to the community to write as information is learned. Modders tend to learn far more about the CS than the developers do, because we're trying to do things it wasn't meant to do.

There're lots of tutorials on the Internet for it, too, though they can be hard to find if you don't know where to look - the stickied threads in the CS forum are an excellent place to look.
