The doors can be difficult to link. These instructions do indead work if you are having problems trying to get the doors to reference.

place door A do not touch the teleport tab!!@#$@! place door B check the teleport box (for either door but not both!!) select the destination cell from the cell drop down list on the teleport tab door A 'should' appear as an option now or any door type object. if door A does not appear, then do drop a display case in that same cell. just so you can see it as a reference.

If you set door A as teleportable before the second door is in place, then the first door is considered 'taken' and not a valid destination (and so not listed) as it goes to the abandoned mine 'bad target' door if that cell name is not preceded by another cell. (aahouse would be an example). it also appears that not all doors are valid targets. I cant get all the display cases to function as a proper door even though they will list.

I don't see why you need to add a new ID for every door you make. I don't think it is necessary, as long as you can find the correct door back at step 4,and I never had any problems with that.

How do you change the way the the door marker is rotated? --General Bays 20:05, 3 June 2007 (EDT)

You right click on the teleport marker and hold the button down, then rotate it to the orientation you want the Player to view when coming through the door (typically pointing directly away from the door).

Now I have both doors in place and they are linked together, but in the game I can't get the exterior door to send me to a cave I made, the door doesn't even work. And this is all on one mod. --General Bays 02:10, 11 August 2007 (EDT)

do you get sent to the abandoned mine, or does the game just ignore your door?

Door Markers Height[edit source]

Every time i make a door connection the door markers are like placed half way up the door and no matter what i look for i cant find any way to reduce the height. everytime i double click it wants to teleport me and rclick spins it and the scroll wheel just moves the camera. any help on this will be helpful thank you :D
