Hi, what do I have to do to use transparent areas on textures? I've tried setting areas of the alpha layer to black or nearly black and saved the texture as ARGB 32bit but the area doesn't appear transparent in NifScope.

The proper format to save is the DXT3, not the 8:8:8:8.

I had just as much luck (read:none) with DXT3 in the nVidia Photoshop plugin as I did with 8:8:8:8. I had to download a separate program to get the textures out of Photoshop and into a format that NifSkope and the CS would recognize.
