(new) I've been working on an article* that I hope might clarify some of the syntax terminology... I started it for myself in an effort to try to better understand the various discussions (esp. [1], referred to by [2]) and what the issues were. I ended up trying to "boil down" the essential differences... Feel free to provide feedback on my Talk page (especially if I got something wrong). Note that there are two 'skins' (presentational style sheets) available on cs.elderscolls.com/ConstWIKI :
- 'esstyle' (default), and
- 'MonoBook'
You can set your style using [Personal Tools] > [My preferences].
You can also create your own 'skin' using style sheets; each user can set their style preferences as [User:Your_Name/esstyle.css].

My shared stylesheet: User:Laisren/esstyle.css - is currently just a style supplement that fixes the broken footer material seen in the default 'esstyle' skin.
