NEED HELP NOW

I have made my own huge world with a lot of quests and everything, but I'm missing one thing... a tournament. You know how there's the arena in the IC, well I copied and pasted that into my world, but am unsure how to make a quest for it. what I need to do is figure out how to make a tournament, you know, with all of the ranks and opponents and such, but dont know how. I'm just really stressed out. Ive been trying to make a quest for the tournament, and cant do it. I cant make the player go up in rank, or even be able to fight... I enter my arena, but the gates dont go down, and nothing at all happens... I guess im not scripting anything right. Please help me out. thankyou.

Your question on my Talk page was fine (though you should have given it its own heading and signed your question with ~~~~ - that helps me keep the page organized - don't worry, I've done that for you), but unfortunately I don't really know enough about the Arena to help you. I concur with Qazaaq, your best bet is to check the Forums. Good luck!

I have never made an arena before but I hope you realize how many scripts you are talking about: You'll have to script every combatant, every quest stage, etc. and to add ranks, you'll have to add a faction with different rank titles. (you could copy some of the scripts from the arena quest itself and try to make the best of it.) I guess this isn't the answer you're looking for, but I hope you realise now that this is not going to be easy. Darkness X 11:05, 16 August 2009 (EDT)

Save Question

A. please put new questions on the bottom of Talk pages, in their own header. Took me a while to find your question at first, because I didn't realize you'd replaced your previous one with it. I'd rather you didn't delete anything off of my Talk page, even your own stuff, too.

B. please sign Talk page comments with ~~~~. This makes it easier to keep track of who is saying what, when, and gives me a convenient link back to your own page.

C. I have absolutely no idea what could be wrong with your saves. Again, I'm going to have to direct you to the Forums. They really are your best resource for trouble-shooting like this.

I hope you can figure it out.
