Update: Terminology[edit source]
As a result of the Terminology Discussion, this page needs to be updated. I don't have time to do it now, so I'm marking it, so that I will hopefully remember it and do it later.
If someone else wants to do it, you're not going to get an argument from me.

- I'm considering tackling this one, but first I want to make sure I understand the changes you are looking for. The most compelling info I found in the UESP link was the comparison of CS terminology to basic programming terminology. Other than that, I don't really see anything in that article that's particularly relevant to this one.

BSA's[edit source]
Do we need a BSA unpacker to gain access to the objects Oblivion uses, or are the object files hidden in some hitherto unknown location? This is assuming meshes and sounds and etc work the same as they did in Morrowind. The files I'm talking about were included on the second CD in Morrowind. -Stickman
If you're talking about getting access to the assets so they can be edited, then you have to explode the BSA files. The TES4BSA program works great for this, but as the forums are down right now I can't post the link. [MD]Languard 10:02, 26 March 2006 (EST)
Said file should probably be uploaded to the wiki and linked through a convenient page (like Objects) with instructions on how to use it. (Intructions on their own page.) I'll see about making the mess once I get the file and figure it and the wiki out. --Stickman 11:39, 26 March 2006 (EST)
Except we can't edit category pages. I'll figure something out after I've slept. Link for future reference: ghostwheel utilities --Stickman 11:46, 26 March 2006 (EST)
added as a sub-category[edit source]
Well I did the next best thing, and created it as a sub-category of objects. Here's the link.
