Category talk:Official Tutorials

JBurgess 12:02, 16 August 2006 (EDT) I'm flattered that you guys divided these out into their own category, but I don't want folks to feel like they're infallable because we wrote them in-house. I wrote these in the spirit of wiki - as shared property of the community here.

I'm not saying to remove the category; just discouraging folks from feeling like there aren't alternative, possibly better approaches than those I describe, nor that these aren't articles which knowledgable community members can and should edit.

GhanBuriGhan 12:21, 16 August 2006 (EDT) The reason I made this a category is that I noticed on the forums that new people simply tend to want to do the "official" stuff first - so I thought it made sense to have such a catgory for people who want to seek out what you guys did. Of course these tutorials are also sorted into the other "subject" categories as well.

Dragoon Wraith TALK 12:51, 16 August 2006 (EDT): Perhaps it would be best to say that these tutorials were originally written by Bethesda staff, and encourage people to edit them if they can improve them, so that we don't lose out on possible improvements to them (as JBurgess rightfully notes could happen). I'm going to do that.
