Hmmm ... i should not have called the topic of the skills "Skill skillname" ... seeing that all skills are now sorted under the letter S.

Action : delete all topics i made earlier , and rename them to "Skillname skill"

No way to add skills?[edit source]

Could not someone who knows a lot about programming and the build of applications (.exe) modify the file and save it (I know that sometimes that destroys the app but you can always try) and test if making a new skill, editing, and deleting works? Or maybe there is some application that can decompile it and then you edit it in C, C++, C# or whatever the language is. Just curious if something would be able to work because I want to create my own skills.

Anyway, one, editing Oblivion.exe or ConstructionSet.exe would be illegal, not to mentioned massively difficult. Better to do something along the lines of OBSE - edit it in-memory. If you search the Forums, OBME does this for magic effects. For something similar to what you want to do, look up kyoma's mod - I don't know what name it's going under these days, but he had a mod that would add fake skills to the GUI menus, while you could handle the skill internally through scripts.
I hope that helps!

Sorry, that was what I was talking about just forgot to mention OBSE. --The Archmage 12:26, 3 July 2010 (EDT)
Well, last I heard, Oblivion is hard-coded left, right, and center to expect 21 skills, and changing this number would be very difficult, so I wouldn't hold my breath on that one. Seriously, kyoma's mod is your best bet here.
