MIRC
A program capable of chatting with other people on the net. It is more powerful the Java and IceChat. Requires you to download and install it though.
There is a way to get to a specific channel that will help you with all of your modding needs.
You need to set up the servers though. When installed, navigate to mIRC options. There, click on servers then add. On description, type in IRC. In groups, type in 1. Now is the crutial part. If this goes wrong, you will have to edit the server options. In server, type in irc.chatspike.net
This will connect you to the ChatSpike server where there is a channel called #esmod. This channel will help you with your modding. Once the server is set up, you need to click connect. Then, a window should pop up asking which channel you want to join. Type in #esmod. And that is it. You can access other channels by typing in /join [channel name]
